We need to change the way we do business in Washington and I am happy to lead by example. I encourage all of you to vote for real change and vote Bob Anderson and tell your friends and family about me!! The best way to build support is through word of mouth, besides it is a lot less expensive that way!!

MPR has decided to not let me participate in the debate today. I was originally invited and then later uninvited. I feel this is the most outrageous form of bias I have experienced so far in this election process. I feel as a public station they should hold themselves to a higher standard. Please remember this at their next pledge drive, it is time to stop public financing if they choose to behave this way. Bob Anderson

Bachmann may have handed it all to Tinklenberg, who does not merit any of it. Remember Bob Anderson. The real IP candidate.

It is news all over the Internet that Michele Bachmann, appearing to have a political deathwish, went uber-McCarthyite, on national TV (to the profound embarassment of every citizen of this State).

Bill Prendergast has a transcript and related matoffensive to the sensibilities of cogent, reasonable people. It is Joe McCarthy, repackaged, Stillwater style.

Basically, Bachmann went into "anti-American" dimensions of her world - her distorted view of the real world, that is.

While gross offensive overstatement is not an unusual erial posted at DumpMicheleBachmann
. Go there to read it. It undeniably is both awful and for Bachmann, she usually has had the sense to do it among her zealous core constituency, not on national broadcast time.

This time the will to be Michele Bachmann far exceeded the will to be at all prudent.

Bachmann's been recognized before as first with the firebrand, and there to cast the first stone, (at those in her worldview she believes deserve it, a view excluding her deserving anything but love and respect and willingness to not hold her to the meaning and true impact of the outrageous things that come out of her mouth).

Bachmann's meltdown (self-immolation??) hit the blogs and Tink got barrels of bucks that his own qualities did not merit independent of Bachmann doing her inimitable accusation mongering.

It bothers me that Tinklenberg benefits.

But how can you avoid holding your nose and going with the least offensive choice -
when considering Bachmann vs. Tinklenberg?

One answer: It's Simple. , vote for him. He has a chance now, with Bachmann removing herself as anything but a joke candidate.
Bob Anderson is the one of the three that is not a career politician, nor is Bob Anderson a consultant-lobbyist as Elwyn Tinklenber is.

When you see the Tinklenberg ads showing how clearly awful Bachmann is, ALWAYS REMEMBER THE NAME - BOB ANDERSON.

HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY REAL SIXTH DISTRICT INDEPENDENCE PARTY CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE ON THE NOVEMBER BALLOT.

GIVE BOB CONSIDERATION.

ONE PROPER DISCLAIMER:
Bob Anderson's campaign website is here. Please have a look. He has reposted from Crabgrass. That is a decision I have had no say in, but I regard it as a complement and an honor. The Anderson campaign is entirely separate from this blog - as is the Independence Party which Anderson will represent on the November ballot. There is no connection of friendship, kinship, fees, or service between me and either Anderson or his party. I have not met nor seen Anderson in person, ever, unlike with Michele Bachmann and Elwyn Tinklenberg. I have had no telephone contact with either of the three candidates. Views on this blog are entirely mine, and mine only, and I have no financial or other personal stake in how any election turns out. I speak as a voter, wanting to be informed, and to raise issues for other voters to consider. If I have posted any opinion here (or as comments to other websites) which any reader may find offensive - they are mine alone and should not be held against or attributed to Bob Anderson or to any other person. While everyone "discuses politics" no other person has influenced or been responsible for what I think to say in a post. Finally, Crabgrass has no reservation of rights statement at its end. Everything on it I have created is public domain, to be quoted or countered by excerpting or otherwise. All is public domain, except photos or quotes from other sources where intellectual property rights - copyright - are reserved subject to limited non-business fair use.

Bob Anderson A Voice For The People!!!!

I hope you all give me a look before you decide.

I am the only candidate that is not taking money from anyone.

I will be free to represent my constituents and not the party or special interests.

I represent the average working class because I am one of them.

I am a fiscal conservative and I demonstrate that in the way I run my campaign.

I can go to Washington with no strings attached.

I am the only one that represents true change.

I feel we need an Independent in Congress and that would be me.

Vote Bob Anderson and put an end to the status quo politics. Thank You!!!!

Post from Star Tribune Voters Guide

What's a real smile and a real person look like, vs. a career politician, posing?

photos online from MinnPost.

Does ego or a contemptous demeanor show through a photo? What's a forced smile? What does a real human look like? If you were the Men in Black, which of the three would you check out last?

Who is Bob Anderson?

Given the alternatives why would you NOT vote for him?

The latest Tinklenberg moneyshakedown email
 Posted by eric zaetsch

Emailed to me midday, today. He claims momentum is shifting. Quicksand shifts. Momentum? Sure, Elwyn. If you say so.

And he says, unreferenced and hence unsubstantiated "newest polls" imply the Sixth District would favor a Democrat over a Republican. It is too bad the Sixth District DFL did not endorse and run a Wellstone, but instead opted for Dean Barkley's and the wrestler's crony retread.

Too bad indeed.

The real lie, however, is the insistent email rattling of a specter of "20 years more of Bachmann," when Elwyn Tinklenberg most certainly knows what we all know - were he to win he'd go to DC and get a two-year term as chance to build the value of his lobbying Rolodex but then soon face the reality of redistricting - and that's NOT twenty years down the line.

Not at all. It is false to try that brand of fear-mongering.

Also, Tinklenberg criticizes Bachmann for voting against the flawed gazillion dollar bailout bill, i.e., he criticizes her
voting as Tim Walz did. Tim Walz is a man of unimpeachable conscience and he voted as he did for good reasons, as reported by Strib.

If you want more beyond Walz, look
here and here.

Please read those links.

They are sobering - somebody sold a package, without telling what it was, three Paulson pages ended up as a 450 page Senate bill, and there was no truth about what the final price would be or who'd spend the pile of cash, and how.

Elwyn likes that kind of loosy-goosy package.

Go figure.

He is who he is.

Strib reports how he endorsed the bailout,
here. And that Lori Sturdivant article has a what-if flavor, contending Tinklenberg could have beaten Bachmann last cycle when Patti Wetterling did not.

Sure. We can all play what if. My guess is Bachmann will defeat Tinklenberg more decisively than she defeated Wetterling. People liked Patti Wetterling.
